School Temporarily Ceasing Operations on Friday January 31

Dear Parents & Caregivers,

Thank you to the many families that attended our meetings today. Teachers reported a positive start to our school year, in what have been challenging circumstances.

Due to the predicted worsening conditions on Friday and to ensure the safety of students and staff, a decision has been made that our school will not be operating on Friday January 31, 2020.

There will be no staff on site. Please ensure that you put supervision arrangements in place for your child on this day.

Please refer to the Department’s website at www.education.nsw.gov.au/public-schools/school-safety or the ‘Fires Near Me’ app for up to date information. I will continue to update our school’s Facebook page with any relevant information as well.

The school will recommence operations on Monday February 3, 2020 unless other advice is issued.
